李華揚指出,隨著國人食用麵包與蛋糕的食用比例逐年成長,烘焙已成為國人飲食中很重要的一部份,因此這次統一蛋糕屋與橙果合作,打造限量的統一傳情密碼杯子禮盒,加入時尚元素,希望改變以往情人節只是送鮮花或巧克力的觀念。Uni-President expressed its hope that the new brand design will enhance the feel of quality for the cake so consumers will be more willing to purchase room-temperature cakes from convenient stores. Valentine’s Day products will be the company’s first major foray followed by an even greater change for Mothers’ Day. All best-selling cakes will now be repackaged for a cuter and more youthful look. The emphasis will be on the feeling of happiness from eating cakes. Hua-yang Li noted that an increasing number of people in Taiwan are now eating cakes, and baked goods have now become an important part of the Taiwanese diet. As part of the partnership between Uni-President and DEM they have created the limited edition gift box cupcake incorporating fashion elements. This will hopefully encourage people to think beyond flowers and chocolates for Valentine’s Day.
